A US startup creating a social network for those interested in scientific research and wanting to stay up-to-date on developments in their field approached us to design
a one-page website for adding users to a waiting list.

Our team worked on both the social network design and the product page, respectively.
We analyzed competitors —similar news aggregators
and social media platforms —by examining their website structure, design,
and design elements. We came to a preliminary conclusion about the site’s page-by-page and block-by-block structure. We also prepared a mood board—a set of images and screenshots from other websites that the service team might find appealing.

UX Analysis
We created prototypes of the website pages without a detailed structure and precise arrangement of elements relative to each other.
Low-Fi UX Design
After adjusting the prototypes based on the company's wishes, highly developed (hi-fi) prototypes with partially prepared text were created.
Hi-Fi UX Design
Following the approval of the hi-fi prototypes,
concepts for the website's main page were prepared,
which would serve as the basis for the website's
primary design.
UI Concepts
Based on the chosen concept, we designed the desktop and mobile versions of the website, created a UI Kit, and prepared mockups for development in React.js.

Thanks to creating a user-oriented website, we were able to get more than 5,000 application to upload social network testing version.
The work was completed within 4 weeks.
