Nyan Heroes
An international gaming studio from Singapore approached us with a request:

  • to redesign the website of their AAA game, currently in user testing, making it more fresh and targeted at their core audience of 17−25 year olds, while also incorporating the brand identity;
  • to set up a customized admin panel for quickly changing website content management—changing images, text, and videos, adding and managing a news feed;
  • to set up tools for viewing website user metrics.
We analyzed competitors—studios creating similar games—by examining the structure, design, and design elements used on their websites, and came to a preliminary conclusion about what the site’s page and block structure should look like.
UX analysis
+
We created prototypes of the website pages without
a detailed structure and precise arrangement of elements relative to each other.
Low-Fi UX design
+
After adjusting the prototypes based on the studio's wishes, highly developed (hi-fi) prototypes with partially prepared text were created.
Hi-Fi UX design
Following the approval of the hi-fi prototypes, concepts for the website's main page were prepared, which would serve as the basis for the website's primary design.
UI concepts
+
+
Based on the chosen concept, we designed the desktop and mobile versions of the website. We created a UI kit thatcan be used in other Nyan Heroes products.
UI design for desktop and mobile versions, UI Kit creation
After the website layouts were approved,
we developed the site using React.js, PostgreSQL, and Strapi.
The admin panel, built using Strapi, allowed us to edit virtually every section of the site without having to contact the developers for technical support.
Frontend & backend development, QA
The total website development time was 3 months.
As a result of the update, the number of visitors increased by 42%, and the number of clicks on the target action—adding to the game’s waitlist—increased by 400%.
