Hackathon Platform

Our team created a platform for a hackathon that was included in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of participants in a single venue.
The platform automates all hackathon processes, including application submission, submission and evaluation of team solutions, and a feedback system between the two parties.

The solution has been used at several international hackathons all across Europe.

This document outlined the features to be developed within the portal, as well as limitations, conditions, error handling principles, and API integrations in the form of user stories.
The project’s key milestones and timelines were also set.

We designed the desktop and mobile versions of the website based on corporate identity elements, as well as a design system (UI Kit) for frontend development.

After the website layouts were approved, we developed
the service using React.js, Vue.js, Flask, and Python.

The overall development and deployment time for the first version of the service was five months, but it is now being used as a turnkey solution and ready for rapid deployment.
It can handle approximately 12,000 users and 250 experts simultaneously.
